This is an original 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe Survivor car with one repaint years ago. The car has an excellent solid original un hit body with a very good rust free frame.

Numbers matching, including engine, transmission and rear end. Saddle tan with matching saddle tan interior. The interior is excellent original survivor interior with all original instruments, glove box door, seat belts & console. The instruments are in perfect shape and all work except for the clock and temperature gauge. The original steering wheel is also in great shape with no cracks. Even the parking brake alarms indicator still work.

One of the most original 1963 corvettes I have seen. Most all components even on the engine are still original. All glass is in excellent shape & original except the windshield. The body still has all bonding strips intact with no evidence of any repairs and still has the original fiberglass headlight buckets. The original hood and hood grills are in nice shape and the body lines on this car fit as good as any I have seen. The doors shut & fit easily and all locks still work. All stainless is complete and very nice for original and the bumpers are presentable. The frame is solid original with no damage or rust and could easily be detailed nicely. The serial number is still easily visible on the frame when the left rear wheel is removed. Headlights, wipers, horns, turn signals all work and the car runs and drives out smooth. The power brake set up is all original including master cylinder and booster. The mileage is believed to be actual at 65,326. The car drives like a 65,000 mile car as well.

As you can see many original components are still with this car. Most power glide cars were not abused as most of the 4 speed cars were.

The paint job alone was over $13,000 two years ago. 1970 was an unusual year for the corvette because of the low production number, only 17,316 Corvettes were built unlike 1969 where there was 38,762 built. Most of this was due to a strike so no Corvettes were built until January 1970. This was basically the last year of the high performance Vettes.

Car was built on Tuesday, October 30th, 1962. The very last car built that day! A very Unique Corvette. The car received a frame-off restoration in the early 80s and has had the same owner since 1986. Solid original un hit body with all bonding strips still intact. Original fiberglass headlight buckets are still in excellent shape. Frame is solid, no rust, extremely smooth with no heavy pitting, unlike most you will see. All glass is still original in mint shape and the car is believed to be actual miles of 53,000. This is a real black with red interior car and a highly sought after 340 h.P. INTERESTING 1977 CORVETTE FACTS:

This was the last year for the straight back window. Leather seats were standard equipment. A new console held heater and air conditioning controls and accepted standard delco radios due to its increased depth. A new steering column positioned the steering wheel two inches closer to the instrument panel to provide more of an “arms out” driving position, and easier entry and exit. 1977 was the first year for the new leather wrapped steering wheel when tilt/telescopic was ordered. The alarm activator was moved to the drivers side door lock, instead of the driver side fender as previous years. The engine paint went from orange to blue in production. Cruise control required automatic transmission the head light dimmer and windshield wiper/washer controls were located on steering column stalks. The inside rear view mirror was moved from above the windshield to the windshield itself. L82 engines were 210 h.P. Only 2,060 m21 l82 corvettes were built in 1977 out of a total 49,213 units. Original m.S.R.P. Of this corvette was $11,159.65. Vin #: 1z37x7s446283. Fifth digit x = designates l82 engine. This was the 46,283rd car built in 1977. This car was built on monday, august 8th, 1977.

1. The “Fatboy” is silver, just like the Enola Gay and Bock's car, the two B-29's used to drop atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
2. The bike has disc wheels which look similar to the type used on airplanes such as the B-29.
3. Seven gold rings can be found on the motorcycle. The same markings that were allegedly present on the two atomic bombs.
4. The name “Fatboy” was supposedly formed from the nicknames “Fatman” and “Little Boy”. The designations given to the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan.
5. Shotgun style exhaust system.

No expense spared on restoration. Correct original engine, transmission and drive train. No details have been overlooked. The paint, trim & interior has been all done to contour standards. All interior, including instruments have all been restored and the glass in the car is correctly date coded. The car has been stored properly. As you can see there is no detoration to the chassis as most restorations do after a period of time. All stainless have been polished and dents removed. All chrome is done to the highest standard. New basecoat clear coat paint in 2006. Bonding strips are still in tact along with an excellent body fit. All trim, especially around the windows fit good. The bumpers have been redone along with new taillights, emblems, carpet, seats, headliner, etc. Dash pads are in very good shape and have no cracks and appear to be the original ones. The instruments work along with the power windows, headlights, windshield wipers and original AM/FM Radio. A matching spare tire and wheel along with the jack goes with the car. The frame is in very good shape and has been detailed along with the suspension and engine compartment at one time. The transmission shifts smoothly with a new shifter and linkage, clutch & pressure plate and throw out bearing.
