Very nice ground-up restored 1972 Corvette. Car is completely documented since new. Including owner history, original bill of sale, original protect-o-plate, original pre delivery inspection, original manual, sales brochure & window sticker. All owners in the St. Louis, Mo. area. Correct original matching numbers engine, original glass including hard top glass, original paint still on the door jams. Clean undercarriage with new exhaust and an excellent rust free frame. Complete with spare tire, jack and lug wrench. The valve covers have been changed to chrome is the only obvious non-original parts on the engine. Paint is nice, new in 2004. Base coat clear coat with an excellent fit on the doors, hood, deck lid, etc. Head lights, wiper door, all instruments including the clock still work and even the buzzer still sounds when the doors are open. 1972 was considered the last of the classic corvettes being that this year was the last of the chrome front bumper.

This bike has been preserved and stored in a living room since 1992. Only 4,440 of these bikes were built in 1990. This motorcycle is documented with the original bill of sale, original owners manual and some interesting literature with the bike. This was the first year for the Fatboy and there is an interesting story behind these bikes! Many people will say that this motorcycle was designed to represent the dropping of atomic bombs on Japan at the end of world war II? You can decide. Here are some interesting facts!

1. The “Fatboy” is silver, just like the Enola Gay and Bock's car, the two B-29's used to drop atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
2. The bike has disc wheels which look similar to the type used on airplanes such as the B-29.
3. Seven gold rings can be found on the motorcycle. The same markings that were allegedly present on the two atomic bombs.
4. The name “Fatboy” was supposedly formed from the nicknames “Fatman” and “Little Boy”. The designations given to the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan.
5. Shotgun style exhaust system.

No expense spared on restoration. Correct original engine, transmission and drive train. No details have been overlooked. The paint, trim & interior has been all done to contour standards. All interior, including instruments have all been restored and the glass in the car is correctly date coded. The car has been stored properly. As you can see there is no detoration to the chassis as most restorations do after a period of time. All stainless have been polished and dents removed. All chrome is done to the highest standard. The car was awarded a gold spinner at chevy vettefest in 2004. Only 87 Miles on the restoration. No disappointments. The doors, panels, hood and trunk have all been fit correctly. This 55 chevy is as good as they come and would put up against any chevy out there.

Very rare and unusual car. Original matching numbers engine and drive train. Documented with all owner title history, odometer statements verifying the actual miles of 36,282. Owners manual and warranty booklet, original tank sticker on tank with a photo copy of it also goes with the car. Original letter from the first owner whom was a GM engineer, stating the car was an actual GM Proving Grounds Test Car, driven by Zora Duntov! The car has had a recent ground-up restoration on a no hit perfect body by Redline Finishes in the original Monza Red finish. You will not find a better finish or body than this one. A must see to appreciate the car. Original carburetor and intake go with the car along with some of the other components that were replaced in restoration. All original seatbelts, instruments and the glass are in excellent shape. The seat covers were replaced, but the originals are still with the car. This was a rare year alone. The fact that GM was on strike and only 17,316 units were produced. In 1969 alone there were more than 38,000 corvettes produced! The car runs and drives out strong and is a very rare corvette.

This is an excellent project for restoration. Original car with a very good frame. All bonding strips intact and door fit is nice. No body modifications have been done to this car. It still has the original front end and hood with the hood grills still in tact. All glass is still in car along with all bumpers, taillights, headlights, and headlight motors. All stainless is still there with only one piece missing on the hardtop. The headlight buckets are still fiberglass which is very hard to come by. Originally a Sebring Silver car with standard black interior. Sold new in Houston, Texas and car comes with the complete owner documentation since new. Sold new at Chuck Davis Chevrolet and comes with the original MSO. Sold in 1968 to the second owner which had the car until now. Only a 2 owner car with both original titles. A very rare find! Shop manual included along with any information we have on parts, suppliers and restoration services. The car still has the original key. Hurry or we will restore the car and get the bigger money for the car. Most project cars are usually missing most or all of the parts and do not have the original engine!

A new radiator has been recently installed with all radiator and heater hoses. The expansion tank has also been replaced with a correct dated one. The fan shroud has been removed and sand blasted and refinished in correct glossy black. The lower rubber seal on the shroud was also replaced and the correct staples installed. The engine block has had the coolant flushed as well as a new thermostat. A new battery, ignition switch and AC spark plugs are just some of the things that have been done to the car. The gas tank has been cleaned and there is no rust in it. The hoses were also replaced at the time along with the sending unit. The car is ready to start and run!

This bike is flawless in every way. Very clean. Neat nostalgic look but with all the latest technology. Power is big and the ride is smooth. Nothing is overlooked when it comes to this bike. Motorcycle comes with the original owner’s manual and sales brochure.

New basecoat clear coat paint in 2006. Bonding strips are still in tact along with an excellent body fit. All trim, especially around the windows fit good. The bumpers have been redone along with new taillights, emblems, carpet, seats, headliner, etc. Dash pads are in very good shape and have no cracks and appear to be the original ones. The instruments work along with the power windows, headlights, windshield wipers and original AM/FM Radio. A matching spare tire and wheel along with the jack goes with the car. The frame is in very good shape and has been detailed along with the suspension and engine compartment at one time. The transmission shifts smoothly with a new shifter and linkage, clutch & pressure plate and throw out bearing.

Runs and drives out strong and would please almost anyone. Just out of a private collection!!
