According to April, 2006 Motor Trend issue G.M. cancelled production of the SSR on March 17th, 2005. Going into the 2006 model year Chevy ASC had built about 19,400 units since its launch in 2003. Since production has ended this will make these trucks future collectors items since their was only a 4 year production run.
