2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. This was the first year for the completely new redesigned Corvette, and they were a show stopper! This Corvette is finished in the optional Velocity Yellow color with Jet Black leather interior. It is equipped with several nice options, including the 3LT equipment group, which was the highest optional level of trim available. The color itself was extremely rare, as only 258 convertibles were produced in this yellow for this model year.
The C7 Corvette maintained the front-mounted V8 with rear-mounted transmission/differential configuration of C5 & C6 models, but 2014’s components were nearly all new. The Stingray (one word) designation returned.
C7’s LT1 engine was a new iteration of the 6.2 Liter (376ci) small block with direct injection, continuously variable valve timing, and cylinder deactivation. Power output increased to 455hp (or 460hp with RPO NPP Performance Exhaust).
C7’s interior featured two 8-inch HD display screens. The screen directly in front of the driver had three different instrument presentations depending on the driver’s choice of Touring, Sport, or Track modes. Interior materials were upgraded and included optional carbon fiber, aluminum, and hand-wrapped leather. Standard GT and optional Competition Sport seats featured magnesium frames and improved support. The 2014’s 360-mm steering wheel was the smallest diameter ever for a Corvette.
Air flow was a C7 design emphasis. Functional vents (one hood, two side front fender, two rear deck (coupe, and two rear fascia) either reduced lift or cooled components. Vents were painted Carbon Flash.
Michelin tires became the exclusive tire supplier for all Corvettes in 2014 models.
Electronic power steering was included with all C7s, a Corvette first.
Convertibles included a power soft top which could be lowered remotely. Latching and unlatching were automatic and functioned up to 30 mph.
The 3LT added navigation, instrument panel in seat color, leather-wrapped instrument panel, doors and console, and Napa leather seating.
Standard features included carbon fiber hood, 8-inch touchscreen AM-FM stereo with 9 speakers, 3-month Sirius/XM, MPS, MyLink, Bluetooth, OnStar, 8-inch HD driver info screen, leather 8-way power GT seats, active handling stability control, dual-zone a/c, keyless access/start, power tilt/telescopic steering, cruise control, tire pressure monitor, driver, passenger and side air bags, Brembo 4-piston disc brakes, and a rear view camera.

Other options on this Corvette included chrome aluminum wheels, 6-speed Paddle-Shift Automatic Transmission, Multi-Mode Performance Exhaust System, Velocity Yellow Tintcoat Paint, And A Personalized Plaque with the original owner’s name on it.
The original MSRP was $72,785.00
The window sticker and build sheet are with this vehicle, along with the owner’s manual and a CarFax Vehicle History Report showing the routine maintenance done over the years.
The overall condition of this Corvette is very good. Showing 65,686 miles, it does have a few chips in the paint, and a couple of the factory wheels do have some minor curb rash, but not excessive. The tires have been replaced and are still in good condition.
The only real negative about this Corvette is that the upper dash pad close to the windshield has started showing some age, and the leather has come unglued in areas.
I would not replace it myself at this time, as it is not cracked or all that bad.
Everything does still work on this vehicle and the anit-freeze coolant has been flushed with a new water pump and belt recently installed.
